Training Specialist/ Coordinator Job Description

We prioritize delivering the highest caliber customer service possible by using the latest car wash machinery, technology, and chemicals to ensure we can deliver on that promise. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, friendly environment to every person using our facility and make the experience as efficient and exceptional as possible.

Caliber Car Wash has expanded from two locations in 2019 to ten locations by the first quarter of 2021, with another four opening by the end of June 2021. We are growing rapidly and turning our focus to how we can better serve and train our employees to provide consistent and dependable services to our customers!

We are currently looking for a Training Specialist/ Coordinator with experience executing an Learning Management System (LMS). The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, has a sense of self-awareness (strong emotional intelligence, understanding of their role, asking for and learning from feedback), confident, does well under pressure, has ability to multitask, and anticipative.

This role will report to the Director of Operations and work alongside the Director and District Managers to deliver and improve training at a store level. The Training Specialist/ Coordinator will also be tasked with building a team of corporate trainers for new store openings and continuation training for all site to ensure a corporate standard is being followed. A good attitude and strong work ethic are a must, and if you can bring those two things, you will be successful.

Experience:

Ideally would have 2-5 years of corporate training experience, have executed a Learning Management System (LMS) system, possess strong computer and organization skills. Must have 1-2 years of supervisory experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and delivery of training throughout the organization.
  • Partners with, trains, and coaches management in employee development efforts.
  • Facilitate new store openings (one week to train Managers, one week to train Crew, one week of observation after opening).
  • Responsible for building a multi-person team to facilitate multiple new store trainings at a given time.
  • Conducts ongoing training needs assessments and works with management to identify skill gaps and recommend training solutions.
  • Track and monitor team goals, data, and report requests, priorities, and delivery dates; provide monthly updates and inform the Human Resources Manager of risks or concerns.
  • Additional duties as required.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education or equivalent combination of education and work experience and two years of corporate retail training.
  • Ability to measure training engagement and employee performance.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision in carrying out job functions and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills: written and interpersonal.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Provides excellent external and internal customer relations.
  • Assists as a liaison with-in the company to ensure the achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Promotes respect, communication and teamwork within the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Physical Requirements:

  • The position requires occasional bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items or materials of moderate weight up to 30 pounds.
  • The ability to speak clearly, to hear and understand at a normal conversational level, and to receive detailed information through verbal communication.
  • Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: developing material; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  • Full range of hand and finger motion for data entry purposes.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance coverage, and the ability to drive extensive periods as needed.

    Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

    Location: Atlanta, GA, Orlando, FL, or Tampa, FL with occasional travel when facilitating new store openings
