Meet the Team: Jessica

If you’ve ever pulled through our Ocala wash, you’ve likely been greeted by Jessica’s infectious smile!

This local loves Ocala because she’s able to stay close to her family and friends. A fan of Grace Japanese Steakhouse, it also doesn’t hurt to have delicious sushi and friendly workers nearby.

Jessica deserves a lot of sushi breaks as she spends her nights training at her dance studio and competing on stage. And don’t be fooled, her moves are even better than her car cleaning tips! If you can’t catch her on stage, you may run into her at Caliber’s vacuums because she loves using them to clean all of the crumbs and dirt off her mats and seats.

Feel free to give her a wave next time you stop by as she’d love to help you get set up on a Limitless plan or answer any questions!

Now Hiring Across the Southeast

Caliber Car Wash aims to serve customers, cars, and communities well – and we know that starts with people. That’s one reason why we believe in hiring individuals for careers, not just jobs.

While other companies may prioritize prior car wash experience, we emphasize customer care and a positive attitude. We seek individuals who want to develop and coach others because growing together means prospering together.

Caliber Car Wash has had the honor of opening seven new washes since 2019, and we take pride in being able to hire and retain nearly 100 employees during these challenging COVID-19 times. We’re also proud to announce that over half of our management team members came from internal promotions, and we commit to keeping this trend up via our comprehensive management training system.

As a growing company that believes in promoting employees, we also understand the need to expand as we move into new markets across several states. Because of this, we continue to actively seek internal and external candidates with exceptional coaching and communication skills to help their team, and our company grow.

If you love working with people and are interested in developing a leadership-based career track, we encourage you to apply today at www.calibercarwash.com/careers. You can also view a list of new and future locations here.

Meet the Team: Jay

Outdoor-loving Jay is one of the first employees Caliber hired in Ocala, and we’re excited to announce that he’s headed up to our new Palatka location!

Jay loves playing basketball and is looking forward to trying all the new food and experiences Palatka has to offer – although he’ll miss being so close to a Chick-fil-A. After all, “who doesn’t love Chick-fil-A?”

One of Jay’s many talents is detailing cars, and he recommends rubbing your windshield wipers with rubbing alcohol after you’ve cleaned them. This will help prevent your wipers from leaving smears!

To meet Jay, stop by our new Palatka location (opening soon). You can also sign up right now to get a free car wash during our grand opening. Just share your contact information, and we’ll send a coupon your way!

Meet the Team: Alivia

Alivia loves living in Inverness because of its friendly atmosphere – an attitude she spreads at Caliber Car Wash!

A shopping fan, Alivia loves exploring the aisles of TJ Maxx and fashion in general. We’re not surprised as she sure has style!

One of her favorite car wash tips is to remove the hitch on your truck before entering the wash tunnel to ensure a completely clean tailgate. This will allow our brushes to get all the way around your vehicle.

For more car wash tips, stop by our Inverness location and meet Alivia.

Meet the Team: Na’Shanti

If you love parades, you’re not alone! Ocala employee Na’Shanti loves celebrating the holidays almost as most as she loves clean cars – and that includes Ocala’s Christmas parade!

When she’s not helping customers get that new car shine, Na’Shanti enjoys playing video games and grabbing dinner at Yamato Japanese Steakhouse.

And if you’re wondering how many air fresheners to grab at Caliber’s detailing booms, Na’Shanti recommends only using one air freshener at a time because they are strong.

Stop by our Ocala location today to meet Na’Shanti and for more wash tips.

New Express Car Wash Opens in Mableton This Week

Pollen has a new adversary this summer with the opening of a new express car wash on the corner of Floyd and Fontaine Road in Mableton, Georgia.

The new wash, opening June 2, will be Caliber Car Wash’s first location in Georgia and fifth location in the southeast. Caliber also has plans to expand into Chamblee and Columbus later this year.

“We’re excited to open our first Cobb County location in Mableton,” said spokesperson Mac McCall. “These are unprecedented times, and we’re honored to provide the three things we know – convenient locations, jobs, and clean cars.”

The Mableton wash, which employs 14-18 people year-round, is located at 5402 Floyd Road SW and offers single and Limitless wash packages. As an express car wash, the company also provides complimentary vacuums, air fresheners, cleaners and detailing air with every wash.

“Our goal is to provide you with all the tools you need to get a Caliber clean,” McCall said. “With our Limitless wash plans our customers get a premier service at a premier value.”

Customers can try the new Mableton car wash for free June 2-6, 2020. The hands-free tunnels offer a safe way to get out of the house, and as an “essential business,” the wash is taking extra precautions to follow Centers for Disease (CDC) and local guidance to keep customers and employees safe. Because of this, some of the wash’s free detailing tools and high-touch areas may not be available during the opening.

“We look forward to making the Mableton community’s lives a little easier by offering quick, quality washes with state-of-the-art technology that leaves customers with more money in their pocket and more time to spend living their lives,” McCall said. “And most of all, we hope everyone leaves with a smile and some next-level shine.”

Meet the Team: Tyler

As we get ready to open our new Mableton, Georgia location, we thought we’d sit down with team member and manager Tyler.

Q: Hi Tyler! We can’t wait to open in Mableton. Can you tell our customers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

I am originally from Greenville, Mississippi, but Georgia is home. I’ve lived here for 17 years!

Q: We’re happy you landed in Mableton. What excites you the most about opening a wash here?

The people. I love our community and look forward to serving our neighbors.

Q: You’re the first Caliber location opening in Georgia. What does that mean to you?

It is an honor to open the first location in Georgia. I love washing cars – which is why I’ve been doing it for 12 years.

Also, I am a huge Atlanta sports guy. My favorite sports team is the Atlanta Falcons. Rise up! So of course, I’m excited to serve some of my fellow Falcon fans!

Q: You have quite the car wash experience. Do you have a favorite car wash tip?

I like to use the box and fill method! For example, when you are vacuuming your car, go around the edges of the section (or box) and then vacuum the center (fill). This makes sure you get all the dirt up out of your vehicle.

Caliber Car Wash Opens in Phenix City

PHENIX CITY, AL – The Columbus area is getting a little cleaner this week with the opening of a new express car wash in Phenix City’s Marketplace development.

Caliber Car Wash, opening on May 16, is the company’s fourth location and its first in Alabama. The business also has plans to open a car wash in Mableton, Georgia, later this month and Columbus, Georgia, this fall.

“Our new location gives Phenix City a premier wash option closer to home,” said spokesperson Mac McCall. “These are unprecedented times, and we’re honored to provide the three things we know best – convenient locations, jobs, and clean cars.”

The Phenix City wash, which employs 14-18 people year-round, is located at 6 Marketplace Way across from the Walmart Supercenter on HWY 280 and offers single and Limitless wash packages.

Customers can try the new Phenix City car wash for free between May 16-21, 2020.

“We look forward to making the Phenix City community’s lives a little easier by offering quick, quality washes with state-of-the-art technology that leaves customers with more money in their pocket and more time to spend living their lives,” McCall said. “And most of all, we hope everyone leaves with a smile and some next-level shine.”

Meet the Team: Alex

Meet Alex from our Phenix City location!

Alex is currently working hard to open our Phenix City, Alabama location, and looks forward to meeting all of you soon.

When he’s not working at our wash tunnels, Alex enjoys grabbing some great Mexican food at Sapos over in Columbus and going to the River Walk on rainy days.

For downtime, Alex enjoys whitewater rafting on the Chattahoochee River and riding 4-wheelers out in the country.

This jack-of-all-trades loves clean cars, especially tire shine. As Alex often says, “it’s not a clean car if the tires aren’t shining.” He recommends getting our Caliber wash to make sure those rims sparkle.

Stay tuned for more information about our Phenix City opening and sign up for our email list to have details sent right to you. We hope to see you soon!

Meet the Team: Chance

Stop by our Ocala location to meet Chance, who loves working with people almost as much as she loves skating rinks!

Chance enjoys grabbing a meal at the local Mojo Grill & El Toreo when she’s not helping customers get that new car shine. As a writer and photographer, she is thoughtful and knows how to look at life through different lenses.

If you’re looking to keep your car mats clean, Chance’s favorite wash tip is to take your shoes off when you jump back in the car. That short drive home in socks will keep your carpets clean!

We hope you’ll stop by soon to meet Chance and take advantage of our quick and easy-to-use mat cleaner and vacuums. And if you’re enjoying all that shine, consider going Limitless. Chance would love to help you sign up!
